We are very proud to announce that our team at the KSB teaching staff negotiation table this morning reached an agreement in principle for the renewal of the E4 collective agreement with the Management Negotiating Committee of the Kativik School Board.
The union delegates will meet in a sector council on Monday March 21 at 7:00 p.m. during which we will present the content of the agreement to them in view of the General Assemblies which will be held shortly afterwards so that you can vote on this agreement.
Historic gains are contained in this agreement, particularly on the 4 major regional disparity issues and mainly for locally hired members who are overwhelmingly Inuit!
So it is VERY IMPORTANT to go and vote at your General Meeting because for a Historic Agreement, it takes a Historic Vote!
