Marie-Julie has been teaching at the Cree School Board since 2018 and is the Department Head of Special Education, in Waskaganish since 2020, for the English and French sectors of Waskaganish Elementary School. She has been a steward in her school since 2019 and has also been a member of the Board Committee since that same year. She has been appointed interim sector director for the 2022-2023 school year and her term will begin on July 1, 2022.
